York Street Kindergarten serves a supportive, semi-rural community. We work
positively with the community and the natural environment.
- We have a roll of 40 children
- We run five-hour sessions, five days a week with 20 free hours available
- We are well resourced with a spacious inside and outdoor environment
- We provide a programme that follows children’s strengths and interests and helps them become confident, capable learners
- We work in partnership with parents/whānau in a collaborative way
- There is a strong emphasis on providing a multi-cultural environment in which all cultures are valued
- Teachers are committed to ongoing professional development
