We are a four teacher Kindergarten in the residential heart of Totara Park, serving both the Totara Park and Upper Hutt communities.
Our Kindergarten is a “Children’s Place” full of fun and laughter, excitement and discovery, exploration and learning.
Our Kindergarten provides opportunities for children to:
- Become independent and develop positive interactions with other children and adults.
- Gain confidence, knowledge and skills.
- Become familiar with Treaty of Waitangi dual partnership ideals and the use of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori within the kindergarten.
- Foster respect for themselves, others and the environment.
- Become secure in their understanding of ICT (Information Communication Technology)
- Share their family and experiences.
- Experience the “Arts”.
Through collaborative relationships we work with children and their families/whānau to promote positive learning outcomes.
