The vision of the West Kindergarten teaching team is to provide a learning environment in which the children continue to develop skills for life.
A holistic approach of working with families/whanau and other education, health and social services enables us to support children’s health, well-being and development.
- The teaching team at West is experienced and passionate about providing quality early childhood education
- Masterton West kindergarten has beautiful spacious grounds and provides a challenging and exciting indoor and outdoor learning environment.
- We are involved in the EnviroSchools programme and have vegetable gardens and an orchard underway. The teachers, children and families are learning more about environmental sustainability.
- We have been awarded the Healthy Heart Award and continue to encourage healthy eating options and physical activity.
- Parent contribution is welcomed and valued at West.
